Promat® Fineline Entrance Mats
General Information About Promat Aluminum Entrance Mat Systems:
In all Promat series products, we use 1.2 mm thick anodized aluminum profiles resistant to oxidation, AISI 316 stainless steel wires, high-quality German Nylon 6.6 brush profiles, Dutch-made 100% ASOTA PP non-woven carpet, 100% EPDM rubber, and anti-slip and sound-absorbing EPDM rubber strips underneath the profiles. (Most products on the market use PVC strips instead of rubber.)
In addition to the standard model with 17 mm profile height (22–23 mm total height) and 1.2 mm aluminum wall thickness, we also include in our offer models with 1.8 mm wall thickness designed for very high-traffic areas and suitable for wheeled traffic (shopping carts, forklifts, etc.). We particularly recommend these models for high-traffic areas. These models are used in overseas projects such as airport terminals and shopping malls.
For mats to be installed in recessed wells, manufacturing L or Z profile aluminum frame systems ensures better embedding into the floor and extends the lifespan of the mat. These frames are priced per meter. Stainless steel connection wires are used at intervals of maximum 20 cm. For circular mats, this spacing is approximately 10 cm. Smaller spacing between the wires increases durability and extends the service life of the mat.
Large-sized mats are manufactured in sections to facilitate transportation, cleaning, and maintenance. Special connection systems are used at joint points to ensure that the mats remain level and do not move from their position. Connection components required for such projects will be supplied free of charge.
The standard aluminum profile thickness is 1.2 mm. Alternatively, 1.8 mm wall thickness aluminum profiles can be used for extra high-traffic areas.
